Scott D. Levine MD, DABFM
Dr. Scott Levine is a physician who is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Forensic Medicine.
As a leading expert in health and nutrition, he has been a speaker at both national health conferences and on nationally syndicated radio. He has appeared on numerous local TV stations for his medical expertise.
Dr. Levine has had a solo medical practice in Orlando, Florida for nearly 15 years. He is highly committed to disease prevention and providing highly personal medical care to his patients. Dr. Levine’s strong interest in dermatology and skin care dates back more than 20 years. He participated in dermatology research and was awarded the Solomon’s Scholar Award for his work in hair loss. Dr. Levine treats a variety of dermatological conditions in his practice and frequently removes skin cancers and other premalignant lesions. Dr. Levine’s interest in creating an antiaging cream resulted from his patients complaining about the inadequacy of available products in the market. Dr. Levine researched ingredients and collaborated with a chemist and cosmetic scientist to create the most effective antiaging skin moisturizer and skin protectant available.
Dr. Levine’s interest in creating sun protective products came from the necessity of providing better and safer sun protection. Skin cancer rates are increasing faster than all other cancers, despite the public’s wider use of sunscreens. Current sun care products offer only modest sun protection and do not prevent skin aging or cancers. The large amount of skin cancers and premalignant lesions Dr. Levine treats during the year have given him a personal interest in protecting his patients. Living in a climate like Orlando where UV radiation is the worst in the country has enhanced his interest as well.
